Second grade artists are learning about texture in the art room. \u00a0Texture is the way something feels when you touch it. \u00a0There is real texture and implied texture in artwork.<\/p>\n

After reading a story, each artist drew a monster from their imagination using shapes and lines. They used oil pastels to add implied texture lines to their monster to show if it felt furry, slimy, scaly, fuzzy, etc.<\/p>\n
