Fourth grade artists looked at sand mandalas that were made in India as a form of relaxation or meditation. \u00a0We saw how, even though MANY hours were put into making the detailed mandalas, when they were finished, the sand would blow away and would become a part of nature. \u00a0We decided to make our own form of these mandalas.<\/p>\n

After it rained, our sidewalk chalk mandalas also disappeared, like the sand mandalas from India. \u00a0We also made sure to show radial symmetry in our mandalas.<\/p>\n
