{"id":98,"date":"2020-04-20T13:39:33","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T17:39:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/aquino\/?p=98"},"modified":"2020-04-20T13:39:34","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T17:39:34","slug":"school-is-back-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/aquino\/2020\/04\/20\/school-is-back-online\/","title":{"rendered":"SCHOOL IS BACK ON(Line)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Welcome Back!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yessir!&nbsp; School is back on for the rest of the year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aren\u2019t you excited? <strong>SCHOOL COUNTS AGAIN!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s right &#8211; we are officially doing the last card marking together from home!&nbsp; We\u2019re going to have some video chats, we\u2019ll have plenty of emails back-and-forth, you\u2019ll show me your work, and I\u2019ll put it in the gradebook for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you look at your grades, right now you\u2019ll see I added in some new ones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quarantine March, Quarantine April, and Email Me<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Quarantine March\/April ones are to make sure that the ones who did work for me get credit for what they did during \u201cenrichment time\u201d, but then Email Me is our first counting grade for this last card marking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That one is simple &#8211; just email me back and update me with how you&#8217;ve been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be a new email, or just simply respond to this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Some of you have already done this &#8211; <em>I see you Superstars!<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll be putting things up on this blog for you\u00a0do. This is your assignment location. Directions will be left here. KEEP CHECKING THIS OFTEN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from emailing me, the first assignment you\u2019ll see is a \u201cMy Learning Plan\u201d review (and a quick survey) so we can pick up where we left off and look at your goals for both now and in the future<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Things you can expect moving forward:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We\u2019ll have some Google Hangouts planned &#8211; right now it\u2019s planned for Tuesday\/Thursday, but everyone is figuring out schedules<\/li><li>We\u2019ll have some office hours planned &#8211; figure for that on Wednesday<\/li><li>We\u2019re going to try some new stuff too (since we can, why not?)<\/li><li>Otherwise, I figure there will be lots of emails back-and-forth for questions and whatever else you may come up with in our new learning environment<\/li><li>Potential Writing\/Drawing assignments with various requirements and standards<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you are worried, don\u2019t be; as long as you are doing the work you will be fine.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome Back!
