The first resources is called roll and respond. If you do not have a dice at home (look in a board game), then you can just have students pick any number or you could have google randomly generate a number for them. This is a great resource for discussion and writing practice. Students read a book of their choice or level and then choose the corresponding sheet: fiction or nonfiction.
