Next, students will be able to differentiate between the four different types of sentences. Students will be able to write the four different types of sentences on a flip chart. Also, students will be working on analogies. Students will be able to establish the same relationship with the other two objects, events or concepts on the basis of the alternatives given in each given question. Last, students will draw conclusions based on the evidence to make an inference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling Words<\/strong>-problem, latitude, machine,system, member, snack, happen, candy, theft, travel, points, lines, line segments, rays, quadrangles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong>\u2013 Students will define point, line, ray, line segment, parallel lines, intersecting lines, and perpendicular lines. Also students will be able to identify each image using the math vocabulary. Next, students will review polygons and their attributes. Also, students will recognize and represent 10 times the value of what the number represents in the place value to its right. Last, students will read and write multi-digit numbers using base ten numerals, expanded form, standard form and word form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science<\/strong>\u2013 Students will explore and learn about different forms of energy: mechanical, chemical, electrical,\u00a0<b>sound<\/b>, light and\u00a0<b>heat<\/b>.
