{"id":75,"date":"2017-09-28T14:35:00","date_gmt":"2017-09-28T18:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/?page_id=75"},"modified":"2017-09-28T14:35:00","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T18:35:00","slug":"fordson-high-school-physical-education-expectations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/fordson-high-school-physical-education-expectations\/","title":{"rendered":"Fordson High School Physical Education Expectations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Classroom Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundamental Behaviors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Students Will:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be expected to use mature adult behavior<\/li>\n<li>Follow directions<\/li>\n<li>Listen while others are talking<\/li>\n<li>Give 100% effort at all times<\/li>\n<li>Display good sportsmanship &amp; citizenship at all times<\/li>\n<li>Complete In-School Suspension assignments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attendance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Students Must:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be in locker room before tardy bell stops ringing<\/li>\n<li>Be in roll call position 5 minutes after the tardy bell rings<\/li>\n<li>Stay in the gym area until the bell rings. IF YOU ARE OUT IN THE HALLWAY, IT IS CONSIDERED SKIPPING<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Proper Attire<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Students MUST:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dress in proper gym attire everyday, gym shoes shorts t-shirts, athletic socks (gym clothes CANNOT be the same clothes the student wore to school)<\/li>\n<li>No tank top shirts or clothes that might be offensive (drugs, alcohol, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Do not bring coats, hats or wear hoods to class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Locker Room Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Students Must:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep things locked at all times<\/li>\n<li>Use only the locker that has been assigned to you (no sharing)<\/li>\n<li>NO CELL PHONES, MUSIC PLAYERS, FOOD, POP, CANDY IN THE GYM OR LOCKER ROOM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Medical Excuses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Students Must:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a note from a licensed physician if they cannot participate in class (although a student might have a medical note, they STILL HAVE TO CHANGE into GYM CLOTHES in order to earn participation points)<\/li>\n<li>Chlorine allergies must be documented by a specialist before unit begins<\/li>\n<li>Dress for class even when on a medical excuse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Grading Procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Unit Assessment<\/strong>&#8211; 10 Points each day (this is also called your participation points) You will be evaluated daily in this category based upon your ability to demonstrate knowledge in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Rules &amp; Procedures:<\/strong> each unit contains its own unique set of rules and procedures that will be discussed at the beginning of each unit<\/li>\n<li><strong>Teamwork:<\/strong> The cooperative effort by a team to achieve a common goal<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sportsmanship:<\/strong> Abiding by the rules of a contest and accepting victory or defeat graciously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IF YOU DO NOT DRESS, OR YOU ARE ABSENT, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SHOW YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN THIS AREA, THEREFORE YOU WILL RECEIVE A 0\/10 IN THE GRADEBOOK.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Classroom Procedures Fundamental Behaviors Students Will: Be expected to use mature adult behavior Follow directions Listen while others are talking Give 100% effort at all times Display good sportsmanship &amp; citizenship at all times Complete In-School Suspension assignments Attendance Students Must: Be in locker room before tardy bell stops ringing Be in roll call position [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2127,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-75","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/75","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2127"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=75"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/75\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/amrh\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=75"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
