Congratulations 9th grade on the successful completion of your first week of high school!<\/span><\/p>\n

I am very excited to jump into learning and the wonderful world of Language Arts with you this year!<\/span><\/p>\n

This week we created our classroom norms and procedures, discussed classroom syllabus and expectations, adjusted to the new environment by making a few friends during our icebreaker activities, and set individual goals for this year. Students had the opportunity in class to sign up for Remind and subscribe to our class iBlog.<\/span><\/p>\n

As you all know, our classroom is still under renovation and we are hoping to have it ready soon. Please be patient at this time; we are expecting to have the rooms painted this weekend and in for more!<\/span><\/p>\n

Attached is the Fordson High School Expectations Matrix for your reference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Open House is this Tuesday 9\/12\/17 from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm<\/strong>. I welcome and look forward to meeting all parents Tuesday. I believe that effective teaching and learning comes with combined efforts at school and from home. Thus, I look forward to an exciting school year and working together to ensure success and growth. \u00a0Parents, if for any reason our open house time does not work with your schedule, and you have questions or would like to schedule to meet before or after school, please do not hesitate to contact me. Reminder to students:<\/strong> \u00a0Please print our class syllabus and have it signed by you and your parents due Monday 9\/11\/17 with class supplies. The supply list can be found in the syllabus.<\/span><\/p>\n
