I hope today is Old Man Winter&#8217;s Last Hurrah for spring. I could use some sunshine AND warm temperatures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week, the District will formally release the expectations for online learning. As I have been informing you, the work is really not considered &#8220;Enrichment.&#8221; The previous work does count in our records and all of the work will determine the final mark a student receives. Dr. Maleyko will give detail on all of that next week. I have been in contact with all families to alert them of missing work, if applicable. PLEASE stay on top of the work &#8211; it is expected to be approximately 2 hours\/day. This is more than manageable. PLEASE monitor your child and make sure you SEE the work, rather than simply asking if it is completed. I will continue to do what I can to help each student. Thank you for doing your part at home. A &#8220;Parent Letter for Topic C&#8221; (lessons 13-17) AND a good review of main ideas for you is loaded in GC &#8211; please make sure you look at it (perhaps even print it out).<\/li><li>180 Days of Language Day 10 \u2013 follow the instructions in Google Classroom<\/li><li>Moby Max: MANY of you still did not do the assignment from Tuesday, Wednesday, and yesterday and are VERY behind. If you didn\u2019t do Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and yesterdays, then you have 4 to do for today. Tuesday\u2019s S. S. review was on &#8220;Comparing\/Contrasting.&#8221; Wednesday\u2019s S.S. review was on \u201cDrawing Conclusions.\u201d Yesterday\u2019s review was \u201cClassify and Categorize.\u201d Today the review is on &#8220;Identifying Main Ideas &amp; Supporting Details.&#8221; These are great foundational reviews on material you have already been taught \u2013 but need to maintain cognitive ability with. Due by the end of today.<\/li><li>Reading: Treasures p. 94-106 (1) read &#8220;Ultimate Field Trip 5: Blasting Off to Space Academy&#8221; (2) answer questions p. 107 #1-5 in GC.
