We already started reviewing for it last week.<\/p>\n<p>Your child will not get a study guide for the math assessments from me. The material\u00a0we discuss in class (during lessons), what we practice in class (from our &#8220;Learn&#8221; workbook), what I assign for homework (from our &#8220;Succeed&#8221; workbook), and what we review either during the lesson, homework corrections, or in our notebooks, is what they should be reviewing. Much of the assessment material involves &#8220;Open Response&#8221; answers, in addition to students showing their work. We stress using steps, vocabulary, and complete thoughts in class. Many students need to work on strengthening this &#8211; communicating their ideas in written form correctly using vocabulary.<\/p>\n<p>I will review in class on Tuesday and Wednesday &#8211; but they need to be reviewing at home, too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our mid module assessment for Module 1 will be Thursday this week.
