After I go through the spelling pattern and words, students are given time to copy it down completely. Last week prior to Daily 5 rotations, I discussed the expectations with the students of what they need to complete for the weekly spelling: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><em>ALL words written 3x each and content words defined<\/em><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If students are not finished with these by the end of Thursday\u2019s Daily 5 rotations, they are reminded to take them home for homework. Please talk to your student about getting their weekly spelling completed.\u00a0 Any work not complete results in an \u201cincomplete\u201d in my gradebook and lowers their grade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*This note was sent home on Monday.
