During the week of November 27th, we will be wrapping up Chapter 2 and assessing students on the topics that we explored. Here is the plan:<\/p>\n
Monday: Complete lessons 2.3.3 and 2.3.4<\/p>\n
Tuesday: Complete lesson 2.3.5<\/p>\n
Wednesday: Complete the closure activity and problems (the rest is homework)<\/p>\n
Thursday: TEAM assessment (this is like a group test)<\/p>\n
Friday: Individual Assessment (This is a test that each student completes his\/herself<\/p>\n
The following topics will be assessed:<\/p>\n
1- Venn diagrams, Bar graphs, Dot Plots, Histograms, Stem and Leaf Plots<\/p>\n
2- Interpreting the above listed graphs<\/p>\n
3-Area of composite figures using the deduce\/decompose strategy<\/p>\n
4- Generic rectangles and multiplication<\/p>\n
5- Penny Models\/Rectangular Arrays<\/p>\n
