A HUGE thank you to all that sent in treats for me for Valentine’s Day!\u00a0 I enjoyed much of them over the long weekend.\u00a0 It was so incredibly thoughtful of everyone!<\/p>\n

Also, a giant thank you to parents and students for an amazing field trip to Henry Ford Village last week!\u00a0 I am so proud of the kids—they deserve a giant hug!!\u00a0 I was so impressed with them as they interacted with the residents at Henry Ford Village.\u00a0 It brought tears to my eyes!\u00a0 They were so incredibly sweet with anyone they came in contact with.\u00a0 The directors at the Village were so impressed with the kids as well and are asking that we return!\u00a0 I hope your child shared their experience with you.\u00a0 \u00a0Many of the kids met a woman who was 102!\u00a0 I am working on pictures that can be shared and will get those out as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the parent drivers and chaperones as well.\u00a0 We could not have done it without you!<\/p>\n

Astronaut Assembly—Thursday 1:00<\/p>\n
We have finished with the NWEA testing and many of the students showed excellent progress.\u00a0 Remember to make sure your child is reading each night and working on strategies we use during reading CAFE.\u00a0 Your child can even keep a notebook at home to respond to what they are reading.\u00a0 It is very helpful!<\/p>\n
Math–We are working on finishing up the Mid-Module assessment.\u00a0 Students took it in parts and we also have several students who were absent and need to complete the assessment as well.<\/p>\n
Reminder to make sure that your child comes dressed for the weather.\u00a0 Whenever possible, if temperatures allow, we will be going outside for recess.<\/p>\n
