OPERATION CHRISTMAS STOCKING: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0For many years we have been collecting extra Halloween candy and sending it to the troops through an organization called Boatsie\u2019s Boxes. This year we are changing it up a bit. \u00a0\u00a0What this means to you is that each classroom will be collecting goods that will be put into individual stockings (16\u201d-19\u201d) to be sent overseas to service troops that are serving our country.\u00a0 We will begin collecting NOW. All items will get shipped November 5th and students will be filling them Friday, November 2nd. If you would like to donate more, feel free and you can still send in extra Halloween candy.\u00a0 You can also make a cash donation in the office to help purchase the stockings if you\u2019d like. Thanks in advance and we think this will make a great addition to the program we do in the spring for the veterans! \u00a0\u00a0Pls. see below your child\u2019s grade level and items to be donated.<\/p>\n
