{"id":388,"date":"2016-05-16T13:01:31","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T17:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/alabakoffj\/?p=388"},"modified":"2016-05-16T13:01:31","modified_gmt":"2016-05-16T17:01:31","slug":"week-of-may16th-20th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/alabakoffj\/2016\/05\/16\/week-of-may16th-20th\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of May16th-20th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reminders this Week:<\/p>\n<p>PTA Meeting tonight at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8211;Field trip to Greenfield Village. \u00a0Thank you to all parents who have volunteered to chaperone. \u00a0We will be leaving at 9:30. \u00a0Please make sure your information is updated in the office with Ms. Cathy.<\/p>\n<p>Science Fair Forms due tomorrow if you are participating<\/p>\n<p>Veteran&#8217;s Hospital donations still being accepted<\/p>\n<p>We are learning:<\/p>\n<p>Spelling&#8211;No unit this week<\/p>\n<p>Daily 5\/CAFE&#8211;We are finally back to our routine since all the testing is complete. \u00a0All groups started a new book for our book club. \u00a0The students did a great job with a variety of projects for the last book club. \u00a0We will also continue to work on individual goals and strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Writer&#8217;s Workshop&#8211;Working on District Writing Prompt and will then get back to our other piece of writing using voice.<\/p>\n<p>Math&#8211;Reviewing for Unit 6 test (mostly on Geometry, but also some multiplication review). \u00a0We move around with units, so numbers of units don&#8217;t necessarily go in order. \u00a0Assessment will be Wednesday. \u00a0Students should be prepared because we have done a lot of review in class.<\/p>\n<p>Social Studies&#8211;We are finishing up our study of the Growth of Michigan with the Automobile Industry.<\/p>\n<p>Science&#8211;Assessment for Animals this week will be Thursday. \u00a0 Students know a lot about animals!!
