We are Learning:<\/p>\n
Science Test tomorrow on Earth’s Materials. \u00a0We have been reviewing in class and students have folders with necessary information. \u00a0Please review with your child.<\/p>\n
We will be moving on to Social Studies and will begin the history of Michigan!<\/p>\n
Spelling–Our focus this week is the VCCV pattern. \u00a0We are identifying where to divide the words into syllables when they have this pattern.<\/p>\n
Daily 5\/CAFE–We will be working on Legends this week. \u00a0Students will explore different Legends and will be identifying the elements of each. \u00a0We will also be working on extending our Science with main idea and details connected to fast changes on the Earth.<\/p>\n
Writer’s Workshop–Students are working on opinion writing. \u00a0We are completing plans that include opinion, reasons and details. \u00a0Students will be writing letters for their opinion topic.<\/p>\n
Math–Students are working on multiplication and division and different ways to represent them. \u00a0We will also be focusing on number stories and will even be creating our own to solve!<\/p>\n
