We started with a new bus company on Monday and things are running smoothly.  The children have been receiving OT, PT and Speech during the afternoon hours.  <\/li><li>Our story this week was,&nbsp;<em>The Hungry Witch<\/em> by Hands on Holiday Stories.&nbsp; This story takes a&nbsp; look at a witch&#8217;s Halloween supper.&nbsp; She eats a wonderful meal of bugs and worms and spiders, but when she decides to add a few children to her plate, she runs.&nbsp; Children love being grossed out and this Halloween meal is delightfully awful.&nbsp; There&#8217;s a lot of new vocabulary and plenty of opportunities for communication in this story, but the main attraction is simple Halloween fun.<\/li><li>We practiced our letter this week.&nbsp; It was D.<\/li><li>We continue to learn about <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Pets<\/span><\/strong> for the October Unique Learning System unit. <\/li><li>Made up dinner plates for the hungry witch.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes for Asynchronous Learning<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Schoology is not as user friendly as I had hoped for you or for me!  We are going to go back to using the blog.  What I post on the Blog, you will also find posted in Schoology. I will no longer be posting assignments and the lessons will be found in updates for our class.  I am hoping this will make life easier for all of us and give you easier access to asynchronous lessons.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Look Ahead<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>October 3oth- Halloween Fun!
