Newsletter for Week of January 29th

Peek at the Week

  • The Unique Learning System topic for January is My Body. We finished up with the story, Head to Toe this week along with the other lessons in the unit.
  • Our story this week is Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. Click on the button below to enjoy the story at home with your child. Reading the same stories at home helps the students make a home/school connection and allows them the chance to let you know what they have been reading all week at school
  • We made Snowmen Pudding cups and also had fun with an Exploding Snowman Experiment.
  • Our letter this week was the letter P. The students made variety of projects to represent the letter P.
  • For math this month, we are practicing fractions

 Valentine’s Day Party

Our Valentine’s Party will be on Tuesday, February 14th.  This is a special time for the kids to remember those whom they care about.  Most children really look forward to giving and receiving Valentine cards.  Below you will find our class name list.  Please send your child’s Valentine cards once you have prepared them.  Help your child fill them out at home and send them in a bag with their name clearly marked on the outside.  We do not have time to do them for your child at school..  Thank you for your help!
