There will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, May 22nd and Monday, May 25th due to Memorial Day weekend. There will be no assignments given on these days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a simple checklist for all the assignments due by Sunday, May 24th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parent and Student Assignment Checklist for the Week:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Daily Math Homework<\/li><li>Zearn Lessons<\/li><li>(1) Readworks Article on Google Classroom<\/li><li>Writing Prompt on Google Classroom<\/li><li>(1) Science Assignment on Google Classroom<\/li><li>(1) Social Studies Assignment on Google Classroom<\/li><li>Seesaw Fun Activity&nbsp;<\/li><li>Math Exit Ticket on Thursday<\/li><li>Art and Music Assignments on the <strong>Art Google Classroom<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Homework and Announcements for the week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No More Google Meet Sessions! <\/strong>We are no longer allowed to use Google Meets as a Communication Tool for the Students. Please be patient as the district is trying to find the safest way to live chat with our students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Office Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Office Hours:<\/strong> Monday-Friday 8:35 am to 3:35 pm All 4th Grade Teachers can answer questions via email, class dojo, or blog&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(20 minutes) Math:<\/strong> We will continue our learning in Geometry this week. Students will have homework every night with an exit ticket given on Thursday. We will do Lessons 5, 7 and 8 this week. Please be sure to do the Zearn lessons assigned below. This will help students learn the content that I will be teaching.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zearn Lesson: Module 4 Lesson 8 <\/strong>(Finish this lesson by Sunday, May 24th)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*** This week looks a little different. All math assignments will be on Google Classroom. The expectation is to read and answer the questions by the end of the week. The articles will be posted on Monday. <strong>Remember to spend time on iReady, too.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reading &#8211; only 1 assignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Read the story &#8211; <strong>Some Clumsy Magic <\/strong>and then answer the questions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(20 minutes) Writing Prompt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(20 minutes) Science on Tuesday:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the article that is linked on Google Classroom: Tuesday Science &#8211; Animals Using Their Body Systems. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE ASSIGNMENT. When you are done with reading the article, answer the questions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;(20 minutes) Social Studies on Wednesday:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be a lesson posted each Wednesday for Social Studies on Google Classroom. This week\u2019s lesson is a Readworks article. The article is called, The Traveler of Islam. This upcoming weekend is Eid al-Fitr. We hope everyone is able to celebrate with family and friends during these unprecedented&nbsp; times and we also wish your family a wonderful holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition this upcoming weekend is Memorial Day weekend. Take a moment to think about all the men and women who have served in our Military. There are so many things to be grateful for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember to create and display your \u201cthank you\u201d sign for the essential workers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(20 minutes) Fun Activity on Seesaw<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a \u201cGratitude Scavenger Hunt\u201d to complete.
