We continue to practice multiplication and division.<\/p>\n<p>All students worked on Front Row today in class. This is a great way to get in individual math practice. Students can also \u00a0do this at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Spelling-here are this week&#8217;s words:<\/p>\n<p>-grateful, kindness, beautiful, respectful and wilderness.<\/p>\n<p>-Content Area words: citizen, veto, vote, independent<\/p>\n<p>and democracy.<\/p>\n<p>Word meaning-using and understanding a glossary-students should be able to do all of this work independently.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>There is another<\/strong><\/em> PTA popcorn sale this week. Please send in .50 cents for a bag of freshly popped popcorn on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>On Monday<\/strong><\/em>, February 29, is our PBIS celebration. It is a &#8220;camp out&#8221; in the gym. Kids can bring sleeping bags, flashlights, and books! I will send home more information with your student on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>FYI<\/strong><\/em>-Our field trip in Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Most of you have sent in your permission slips and money. Many thanks!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Also<\/strong><\/em> please think about reading to our class during MARCH.
