Today we explored the nature of energy as it applies to marbles in motion. Energy is the ability to do work. We are learning about the difference between potential energy (stored energy) and kinetic energy ( the energy of moving things). In this lesson, students used marbles to see how collisions can transfer energy from one object to another.<\/p>\n
