Students have all checked out books from the media center and we&#8217;ve started working with computers during media classes.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-very-dark-gray-color has-light-green-cyan-background-color\">All students come to the media center with their classroom teacher and our media secretary helps them check out books.  Students in grades 1, 2, and 3 come to the media center once a week for class with me. They will learn how the media centers are set up, how to locate books, appropriate use of technology, research skills, and other related skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-background has-very-dark-gray-color has-light-green-cyan-background-color\">This week we heard the stories, <em>Hansel and Gretel,<\/em> <em>Knuffle Bunny<\/em>, and <em>Chicka Chicka Boom Boom<\/em>.  We&#8217;re also learning or reviewing how to log on and off of the desktop or Chromebook computers and beginning to learn digital citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been in school almost a month now, and autumn is finally here.
