We created a frayer model that we used to identify similes in the short story &#8220;Eleven&#8221; and how to create our own similes.<\/p>\n<p>Week of Oct. 10-Oct. 14<\/p>\n<p>This week we learned how to annotate a narrative which included making predictions, visualizing, and asking questions. We also read and discussed the short story &#8220;Eleven&#8221; by Sandra Cisneros. We highlighted important vocabulary words used in the text.
