All Physical Education Classes

Beginning May 26th each student will keep a fitness/activity log. The activity that you choose is completely up to you. Have fun with it!

If you have not turned in last weeks log please email it to me.

Requirements for the log:

90 minutes total

List day, activity, and duration

Submit log on or before May 31st. Please send it to my email.

Example:

Monday: 30 minute bike ride

Tuesday: 15 minutes of lunges, mountain climbers

Thursday:30 minute jog

Friday: 15 minutes of sit ups and push ups

May 18th-24th

All Physical Education Classes

Beginning May 18th each student will keep a fitness/activity log. The activity that you choose is completely up to you.

If you have not turned in last weeks log please email it to me.

90 minutes total

List day, activity, and duration

Monday: 30 minute jog

Tuesday: 15 minutes of sit ups and push ups

May 11th-17th

All Physical Education Classes

Beginning May 11th each student will keep a fitness/activity log. The activity that you choose is completely up to you so do something you enjoy.

Monday: Bike ride 30 minutes

Tuesday: walked my dog 30 minutes

May 4th- May 10th

All Physical Education Classes

Beginning May 4th each student will keep a fitness/activity log. The activity that you choose is completely up to you so do something fun!

90 minutes total

Monday: 4.03 mile run 38 minutes

Tuesday: 3.50 mile run 32 minutes

Wednesday: 20 minutes of arm and core workout online

Friday: 3.32 mile run 30 minutes

Saturday: 40 minutes of legs and core workout online

Sunday: 2.50 mile run 23 minutes

April 27th-May 3rd

All Physical Education Classes

Beginning April 27th each student will keep a fitness/activity log. The activity that you choose is completely up to you so do something that you enjoy.

April 17th-24th

Beginning April 17th,  each student will keep a fitness/activity log.  The requirements for this log are:

90 minutes total activity

List day, activity, and duration

Submit log on April 24th. Please send to my email.

Emergency School Closure Assignment For All PE Classes (9th grade PE and Rec. Sports) 3/16-4/13

You are required to write a research paper on one of these three topics.

  1. Benefits of strength and endurance exercises.
  2. History and benefits of swimming
  3. Physical and mental benefits of physical activity.

You may do your research on line, but the paper must be written in your own words and not copied from a source. The paper must be two pages typed, single spaced, 12 font. If the paper is hand written it must be three pages long. All resources of information must be included at the end of the paper. A hard copy of the paper is due on 4/13.
