November 6- 10

Hello Families!

Each week just keeps passing by faster and faster!  Our first week of letter learning was very successful and the students loved every minute of singing the letter songs, finding letters in their names and around the room.  This week we will learn 2 more letters.

What We Are Learning…

Names-

We are learning to recognize the letters in our name and the order the letters go in.  Please practice on recognizing the letters in your child’s name and the order in which they go (Rajaa- R-a-j-a-a).

Letters-

This week begins our letter journey.  Each week, we will focus on 2 new letters.  Students will learn to identify the letters, the sound, recognize the letter in print and write the letter on their own.  Please make sure you are checking the blog for updates so you can help work with your child at home.

October 30- November 3

Hello Families!

Well things around here just keep getting more and more busy!  We have finished our colors and will start our letter journey this week.  We will learn 2 letters a week.  We will be sending a note home about the order in which we will be learning our letters!  I hope you are as excited about this letter journey as we are!

We are continuing to grow each day and becoming more and more independent.  We are able to solve problems simply, get materials we need during work time, and take care of ourselves (sneezing or coughing in our sleeve, getting a Kleenex, washing our hands and preparing for arrival and dismissal on our own).

Hello Dear Families!

I hope you are prepared for another busy week here in preschool!  We have many fun activities happening this week along with quite a bit of learning!  We are continuing to become independent in the classroom by serving ourselves our meals and snacks, cleaning up after ourselves (during work time, outside time, after rest time) and becoming an active member in the classroom by following rules and procedures and helping our friends.
