Important Information

  • Parents can preview possible curriculum changes to our reading curriculum. You are invited to attend a Zoom meeting with Benchmark representatives for more information and a Q & A session on Monday, June 1 from 5 to 6 p.m.  Please email communications@dearbornschools.org for information on logging into the Zoom meeting and to get login information to view a sample of the digital curriculum material.
  • Gleaners Food Bank will be at Miller on Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:00.
  • All of our families will be coming to Miller on Thursday, June 4th to pick up your child’s personal items from their desks, new math books and summer learning packets. I already delivered these items to your homes last month, so you will only need to come to Miller to pick up the summer learning packets and drop off any reading books you may still have at home. The children may keep their math books to work on during the summer. Pick up times will be 12:00-1:00pm for K-2 students, and 1:00-2:00pm for students in 3-5 grades. Mr. Awada sent an email on Sunday with directions for that day, so please check your email.
  • June 8th- All of Miller students will be taking an iReady assessment at home. It will help us see how much growth the children have made in reading this year. Please encourage your child to take their time and do their best work. I will remind you of the assessment next week.
