I miss working with all of you! You have learned so much this year and we can work together to keep learning!

Here are some ideas to support your LLI learning. I know your classroom teacher has sent work too.

Read your LLI books and sight words. It can be fun to read to a family member or stuffed animal. My daughter loves to record herself reading on my phone or iPad. She listens to herself when she is done.

Check back for more LLI lessons. Keep up the good work!

Ms. Hatfield

My name is Jennifer Hatfield and I am the Early Childhood Specialist at Long.  I will be working with your student using a new district initiative called Leveled Literacy Intervention(LLI).  LLI is designed to help with reading and writing strategies your child will need to become a proficient reader and writer.  Your child will receive daily support in a small group of only 3 students.  The daily lesson is in addition to the regular reading and writing instruction your child receives daily.  I look forward to meeting you and developing a partnership on behalf of your child.

Sincerely,

Ms. Hatfield
