Technology Sessions @ Miller!

All Miller Parents are invited to attend our Technology Sessions to learn more about basic computer skills and the internet. 
GOALS: Learn the basic components of a computer, accessing and navigating the Internet, accessing Dearborn and Miller school websites and online resources, setting up an email and signing up for the school blogs and where to find additional resources for help.
WHERE: Multipurpose Room @ Miller Elementary.

  • America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit

    “90 Years Together” is the theme of this year’s parade that features floats, marching bands, holiday characters and more on Thanksgiving morning.

    Scrooge’s era comes to life in downtown Holly during this annual event – complete with Dickens characters, a parade, tree lighting and more for families.

    “It’s a Gingerbread Thing” is the theme of year 56 of this annual parade – complete with floats, live music and an appearance by Santa.

    Nature By Design at Matthaei Botanical Gardens

    This exhibit, which opens this Saturday, allows you to immerse yourself in colors, patterns, textures and shapes found in nature, and all created by local artists.

 

 

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal

 

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”

If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools.  Money would go to local schools starting this year and the millage expires after six years.  Read More
